First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Doris
Hoplitschek. My last name is derived from a Czech term which means as much as "little plane" (the tool, not the aircraft).
I was born in 1981 in Halle (Saale), near Leipzig. I was raised mostly in Berlin, however, as my parents moved there shortly after
my birth. Having attained my high school diploma I was drawn towards Leipzig, back to the roots, in a way.
There I studied French and German as a foreign language. An academic year in France and a year of internships in
Poland, Germany and again France completed this stage of my life.
Since March 2008 I may proudly call myself "university graduate" (cumulative grade: 1,0), and besides looking for a job,
preparing for several selective procedures, and getting my driver's licence, I finally have the opportunity to spend some time on
my other fields of interest, amongst them international politics and information and communication technologies. The natural result
of this (and my momentary respite) is the creation of this website, which will give me an opportunity to try out myself
in this most successful of the new media, and allow me to refine the skills I have aquired so far.
